Independence Day, celebrated annually on the fourth of July, falls on Friday this year. That offers a great opportunity to enjoy an extended weekend of fireworks, good food and celebration.

On menus as of Tuesday, July 1, Starbucks will begin celebrating with its own drink a few days early with new Firework Frappuccino Blended Beverage.

Aptly named for Independence Day and the holiday weekend, this Instagram-ready drink will have red, white and blue layers. The chain is taking its Summer-Berry Refresher, which tastes like rich berry and contains coconut milk poured over juicy raspberry-flavored pearls, and adding something a bit extra to make the drink apt for the occasion. The blend will be topped with a swirl of strawberry purée and a cloud of vanilla sweet cream cold foam.

“This is a summer vacation in a cup,” says Amanda Conaway, who helped bring the beverage to Starbucks locations across the United States, according to a press release. “From the popping pearls to the creamy vanilla sweet cream, it’s a vibrant, textured beverage inspired by the sights and sounds of summer.”

Other restaurant chains are getting into the spirit of things this Independence Day weekend, with Dunkin’ recently announcing its Star Spangled Donut and Krispy Kreme dropping Fourth of July-inspired Stars, Stripes & Sweetness’ doughnuts.

The tangy and sweet Firework Frappuccino will be available at Starbucks locations nationwide from July 1 to 7, while supplies last.
