Perhaps you’ve been meaning to try Dubai chocolate, the satisfyingly crunchy kadayif (shredded filo pastry) and pistachio cream-filled bar that has continued to take over social feeds, but often feels just out of reach.

Or maybe you’re committed to trying out the various iterations that are coming along at a fast and furious pace: at Costco, Shake Shack, Trader Joe’s and beyond. Either way, getting a taste of the indulgent treat is becoming easier than ever.

The viral luxury chocolate trend took off on TikTok in 2023. Initially available only from a high-end chocolatier in Dubai and out of reach for most Americans, the concept has expanded into the U.S. mainstream in a big way. Now it’s notched a new level of accessibility: Lindt is bringing Dubai Style Chocolate Bars to major retailers across the country.

Global chocolatier Lindt, which briefly introduced a limited-time “handmade” Lindt Dubai Chocolate Bar in December 2024, is now offering it nationwide (albeit, again, for a limited time) at major U.S. retailers including Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Kroger, Albertson's, Meijer, Publix, Stop & Shop, Hannaford and Hy-Vee. The chocolate maker has also changed up its recipe a bit to meet widespread demand.

“After our handmade limited-edition bars sold out in a matter of days in December 2024, it was our mission to create a refined recipe using state-of-the-art technology,” Lindt Master Chocolatier Ann Czaja said in a press release. “We keep a close eye on flavor trends and are proud to invite consumers across America to taste our newest luxurious creation.”

The new, more broadly available Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate Bars feature milk chocolate, a pistachio paste filling containing 45 percent pistachios, and kadayif, almonds and hazelnuts for crunch, promising “a taste of luxury with every bite.”

They land at U.S. retailers this week, but be warned: A limited, pre-nationwide-rollout first drop of the trendy bars at Lindt Retail Stores and online last month (priced at $14.99 for a 5.3 oz. bar) sold out in less than 24 hours. And the new launch is already sparking excitement on social. So even with wider availability, if you’re anxious to get in on this indulgent viral trend, you may want to do it sooner rather than later.
