We thought McDonald’s Squishmallows Happy Meal collab would be its cutest ever, but we may have spoken too soon. The chain is back with another adorable collection: Lil McDonald’s.

This summer, each Happy Meal will include one of 21 tiny toys inspired by the restaurant. Many of the pieces are smaller than a McNugget. Kids (and adults) can pretend to work the register, drive a delivery truck or, to get really meta, eat a miniature Happy Meal alongside the real one.

“Each Lil McDonald’s Happy Meal unlocks a world of endless play with a McDonald’s order and one of 21 mini toys inspired by what families see at our restaurants,” the brand says in a press release. “From a teeny register, tiny fries to an itty-bitty Boo Bucket, get ready to play McDonald’s like never before.”

McDonald’s also posted a video on Instagram and TikTok demonstrating some of the toys, captioned, “can’t talk right now I’m working.”

Kids are sure to have fun with Lil McDonald’s, but the toys are also tapping into adults’ nostalgia.

“Actually cute… especially if you worked there as a teenager in the 90s!” someone comments on the Instagram post.
