Get to Know the Chefs and Qualifiers Competing in 'Tournament of Champions' Season VI

Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions returns for Season VI on Sunday, March 2 at 8|7c on Food Network. This season, 32 of the world's greatest chefs will go head-to-head in a single-elimination, bracket-style competition, putting their culinary skills to the test for a chance to win the iconic championship belt and $150,000 — the biggest cash prize in TOC history. Twenty four of the chefs on Season VI are returning TOC powerhouses. Eight are fresh faces to the culinary competition by way of Tournament of Champions: The Qualifiers — which airs on Sunday, February 16 at 8|7c. Get to know the Season VI competitors, below.

Adriana Urbina is a holistic chef, culinary consultant and integrative nutritionist originally from Venezuela. She has appeared on Beat Bobby Flay and Bobby's Trip Threat. She is also a three-time winner of Chopped.

Maria Mazon is a chef and restaurateur based in Tucson, Arizona. She is also a James Beard semi-finalist and has appeared on Top Chef.

Brittanny Anderson specializes in modern European cuisine and is based in Richmond, Virginia. She has competed on Bobby's Triple Threat.

Chris Oh is a Michelin-rated chef who has competed in many Food Network shows including Guy's Grocery Games, Wildcard Kitchen, Cutthroat Kitchen, 24 in 24 and more.

Jonathon Sawyer a Chicago-based chef and restaurateur. He has appeared on Guy's Grocery Games, Bobby's Triple Threat and more.

Pyet DeSpain is a Native American and Mexican America chef. She is the first winner of Gordon Ramsay's show Next Level Chef.

Carlos Anthony is an Oregon-based based chef who's been featured on Cutthroat Kitchen, Wildcard Kitchen and more.

David Viana is a New Jersey-based chef and restaurateur who has appeared on Top Chef and more.

Antonia Lofaso is a Los Angeles-based chef and cookbook author with appearances on TOC, Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, Wildcard Kitchen and more. She competed in the TOC Season V finale against Maneet Chauhan, who took home the win.

Adam Sobel is a chef and restaurateur: notably, the executive chef and partner of the MINA group, responsible for Chef Michael Mina’s iconic Bourbon Steak. He’s had memorable appearances on Guy’s Grocery Games, Chopped and TOC.

Kevin Lee is a restaurateur and chef based in Oklahoma City. In addition to competing in Season V of TOC, Kevin has been seen on Bobby’s Triple Threat and Guy’s Grocery Games, where he was dubbed the champion.

Tim Love is a Fort Worth-based restaurateur and chef renowned for his signature urban western cuisine. In addition to TOC, he’s competed on Iron Chef America and The Next Iron Chef.

Rocco DiSpirito is a New York City-based chef, author and television personality who has competed in Guy's Grocery Games and Guy's Grocery Games Superstar — during which he beat out the previous winner. He has also hosted and judged various other Food Network shows.

Casey Thompson is a chef and restaurateur who spends her time between her native Texas and Sonoma, California. She competed in Season V of TOC.

Britt Rescigno operates a restaurant in Idaho and travels around the country as consulting chef. She won Chopped in 2019 and was a runner-up on Chopped Champions in 2020.

Shota Nakajima is a Seattle-based chef and restaurateur, not to mention a three-time James Beard semi-finalist. He specializes in Japanese fusion food, including classic dishes, as well as Osaka-style fried chicken and Osaka-inspired pizza.

Kaleena Bliss is a celebrated restaurateur and chef from the Pacific Northwest and has appeared on Bobby’s Triple Threat and Chopped.

Stephanie Izard is a celebrated chef and restaurateur who splits her time between Los Angeles and Chicago. She is also the recipient of James Beard Best Chef: Great Lakes and Food & Wine Best New Chef.

Michael Reed is a Los Angeles-based restaurateur and classically-trained chef, not to mention a James Beard semifinalist and Michelin recommended.

Chris Cosentino is known for his bold flavors, complex pairings and unique culinary skills showcased on The Next Iron Chef.

Jet Tila is a chef, culinary anthropologist, cookbook author, entrepreneur and the Culinary Ambassador of Thai Cuisine. He was also a beloved judge on Cutthroat Kitchen.

Karen Akunowicz is a Boston-based restaurateur and James Beard Award-winning chef — as well as a finalist on Tournament of Champions Seasons III and IV.

Lee Anne Wong is a Japan-based restaurateur and chef with appearances on Chopped and The Next Iron Chef. She also hosted her own Food Network special, Food Crawl with Lee Anne Wong.

Joe Sasto is a Chicago-based celebrity chef — with a history of Michelin recognition — who teaches online cooking classes in his spare time. He’s also the snack genius who created Tantos, the first-ever puffed pasta chip.

Fabio Viviani is a Florence-born, SoCal-based author, restaurateur and chef who specializes in reimagined Tuscan cuisine. He’s appeared on Cutthroat Kitchen, Chopped All-Stars and Beat Bobby Flay.

Chris Scott is a New York City-based chef, author and restaurateur. He’s also a recurring judge on Beat Bobby Flay.

Tobias Dorzon is a Hyattsville, Maryland-based chef, restaurateur and former professional football player, bringing a unique set of skills paired with an undeniable competitive edge to the TOC competition. He’s also competed on Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games.

Amanda Freitag is a celebrity chef and cookbook author based in New York City. Over the years she’s been a judge on Chopped, as well as a competitor on Iron Chef America and The Next Iron Chef.

Claudette Zepeda is a celebrated San Diego-based chef specializing in regional Mexican fare. She’s had appearances on Bobby’s Triple Threat, as well as on Max’s Selena + Chef.

Dale Talde is a James Beard-nominated chef and restaurateur with various eateries in the Northeast. He’s also the host of New ‘Cue.

Sara Bradley is a Kentucky-based chef, Chopped grand champion and the first-ever Chopped legend.
